Terms and Conditions for GFWC Clarksville Women’s Club

Welcome to the GFWC Clarksville Women’s Club (“we,” “our,” or “us”) website (“Site”). By using this Site or registering for our events, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Use of the Website

This Site is intended to provide information about our organization, fundraising efforts, and events. You agree to use this Site for lawful purposes only.

2. Event Registration and Participation

By registering for an event, class, or fundraiser:

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information

• Your registration is not confirmed until payment is received (unless otherwise stated)

• You agree to follow all event guidelines and instructions provided by organizers

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel registrations at our discretion.

3. Payments and Pricing

• All payments are due at the time of registration unless otherwise specified

• Prices, event details, and availability are subject to change without notice

• We are not responsible for additional fees charged by third-party payment processors

4. Refunds, Transfers, and Cancellations

Because our events are fundraisers supporting community initiatives:

• All ticket sales and registration fees are non-refundable

• If you cannot attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to another individual (subject to approval)

• Transfers must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the event, unless otherwise stated

If the Club cancels an event:

• You may be offered a refund, credit, or transfer to a future event

If an event is postponed or rescheduled:

• Your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date

5. Donations

• All donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable

• If a donation is made in error, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe

6. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

By attending or participating in any event, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Participation is voluntary

• You assume all risks associated with attendance and participation

• You are responsible for your own safety and personal belongings

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GFWC Clarksville Women’s Club is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in events.

7. Event Conduct

We are committed to creating a welcoming and respectful environment.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from an event, without refund, for:

• Disruptive or inappropriate behavior

• Failure to follow event guidelines

• Behavior that puts others at risk

If alcohol is served:

• Attendees are expected to drink responsibly

• You are responsible for your own conduct and transportation

8. Photography and Media Release

By attending our events, you grant permission for your image, likeness, or voice to be used in:

• Social media

• Website content

• Promotional and marketing materials

If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify an event organizer at the event.

9. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party platforms for:

• Payment processing (e.g., Wix Payments, Square)

• Event registration

We are not responsible for the policies, errors, or practices of third-party providers.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including logos, images, text, and materials—is the property of GFWC Clarksville Women’s Club and may not be used without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability
