Cheryl Havlik
Club President
GFWC Tennessee Arts & Culture Chair
A Bit About Me
Cheryl Havlik brings a wealth of entrepreneurial spirit and a heart for service to her role as President of the GFWC Clarksville Women’s Club. After a successful career in the service industry—which included owning several beauty salons and a supper club in Wisconsin—Cheryl relocated to Clarksville and found a true sense of purpose and community within the GFWC.
Since joining the club in 2021, Cheryl has remained deeply committed to local outreach. During her two-year tenure as the Arts and Culture Chair, she spearheaded the creation of a scholarship at the Roxy Regional Theatre, ensuring that local youth could participate in children’s theater workshops regardless of financial barriers. Later, as Vice President of Membership, she focused on raising community awareness of GFWC goals and welcoming new voices into the organization.
As she steps into the presidency, Cheryl’s vision is centered on growth and empowerment. She aims to expand the club’s footprint in Clarksville through new community partnerships while fostering an internal culture of mutual support. Cheryl believes that while the work of volunteering is vital, the friendships forged along the way are the club's greatest treasure. With her guiding belief that "we are the key to make magic happen," she looks forward to a transformative 2026–2028 term
