GFWC of TN Scholarship

GFWC of Tennessee awards scholarships of $1,000 to deserving students residing in Tennessee.  Candidates must be planning to attend or are currently enrolled in a Tennessee college or university.  The GFWC of Tennessee Scholarship Committee determines scholarship distribution after review of applicants.  Notification will be made May 1st.  Previous scholarship winners must reapply to be eligible the following year.  Scholarship monies will be mailed directly to the recipient's college or university.  Student is responsible for providing GFWC of Tennessee with the necessary information requested.

APSU Nursing Scholarship

GFWC Clarksville Women's Club is proud to support and empower women who are pursuing a degree in Nursing

Qualification Criteria:

  • 3.0 GPA

  • Junior or Senior

  • Full-time enrollment

  • Nursing major

  • Clarksville-Montgomery County resident (1st Preference)

  • Stewart, Houston, Dickson, Cheatham, or Robertson county resident (2nd Preference)

APSU Music Education Scholarship

GFWC Clarksville Women's Club is proud to support and empower women who are pursuing a degree in Music Education

Qualification Criteria:

  • 3.0 GPA

  • 22 ACT or 1100

  • Active member of National Association for Music Education (NAfME) (Excluding freshmen, must become member)

  • Full-time enrollment

  • Music major (Music Education concentration)

  • Undergraduate

  • Clarksville-Montgomery County resident (1st Preference)

  • Resident of Stewart, Houston, Dickson, Cheatham, or Robertson counties (2nd Preference)

GFWC Success for Survivors Scholarship

As part of the GFWC Signature Program: Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention, the GFWC Success For Survivors Scholarship was created in 2012 to lend a helping hand to those impacted by intimate partner violence who are pursuing higher education. The scholarship aims to provide survivors with a means to achieve both financial and personal independence. Applications open October 2024. Application deadline is February 2025.
