About the event
Join the Clarksville Women's Club at our monthly meeting.
This month is all about our Environment CSP as we welcome Michelle Rogers, Instructor and Environmental Education Project Manager @ Austin Peay State University to share
information about Native Plants.
We'll also be collecting much needed items for our local Clarksville Humane Society during these Dog Days of Summer! DONATION CHALLENGE for COTTON BALLS, LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT, and DRY CAT/DOG FOOD are currently at the top of their needs list. The Humane Society provides thousands of low cost spay and neutering services to the Clarksville Community every year and simple items like this help offset other supply expenses, which run upwards of $8,000 per month to keep our spay-neuter clinic running. Contrary to popular belief, the Humane Society is not “funded” by the city or county, and sadly, the expense of caring for the rising number of homeless animals in our community regularly exceeds their income. Every single donation matters so let's show them some CWC love!
